We are Miniature Australian Shepherd breeders in Chesapeake, Virginia. We also occasionally have standard and toys. Most litters are ASDR and some are AKC registrations. All parents have genetic health testing done. We generally dock tails but will gladly leave the natural tail if you pick your puppy before they are docked. We also usually leave a few tails intact with each litter.
Here at Beaver Dam Mini Aussies we work extensively with our pups. You will receive weekly photos and many random pictures and videos until your puppy is ready to come home. We allow you to visit your puppy once they reach 4 weeks old. Your puppy will come home with a generous puppy package including, food, a blanket and bed , (will have moms scent on them),toys and several other goodies. Puppies will have all age appropriate vaccines, wormed on a regular schedule and come with a one year health guarantee. You will have a lifetime of support after your puppy goes home. Our puppies are healthy and raised in a clean environment. Each pup sees the vet at least twice. We make sure your puppy is well socialized with children, other dogs as well as other visitors. Litter box training begins by 4 weeks and outside training by 5 weeks. When they leave here they are well on their way to being potty trained. They are raised in our home and our adult dogs are also. They do not live in kennels. Your puppy will be introduced to every aspect of real life so when they come home they are ready to provide their new families with a lifetime of love and companionship!
